Here we present our beautiful surroundings. In winter you can go ice skating on the frozen Nieder-Mooser-See. Special events are also offered depending on season, such as the “Erntedankritt” in autumn, connected with a fox hunt and the quarrying of the Nieder-Mooser-lake. Hiking, biking, horseback riding is a major issue on the volcano Vogelsberg in the middle of Hessen. Let yourself be enchanted by unspoilt natural landscapes and cozy half-timbered houses.

Walk with a lama through the beautiful Vogelsberg - there is nothing more relaxing. The lama is guided by the knit and runs as your equal partner on equal terms with you.

There is also a large swimming opportunity and a sunbathing area for swimmers and non-swimmers. The Nieder-Mooser-See favors sailing and windsurfing because of its winds. Anglers are in the perfect place too, because a long stretch of shore is specially reserved for them.

The large evangelical village church, the "Vogelberger Dom" with 1.000 seats, has an original baroque organ. The organ and church concerts in Nieder-Moos are widely known in the country.
